Nigeria National League (NNL) club, Crown FC, will resume for the final phase of their pre-season training tomorrow, Monday, January 3rd ahead of the 2021/2022 NNL season.

Recall that the club team manager, Monsur Sulaiman announced 13 days break for officials and players due to Christmas/New Year festival season.

Meanwhile, Crown FC Head Coach Anthony Encho has told his players to get ready for real business as they resumed tomorrow. Encho said he has provided a blueprint for promotion campaign after the first phase of the pre-season exercise.

The Ogbomoso based side finished 6th on the Nigeria National League standing with 33points in 22 matches (win 10, Lose 9, draw 3) last season under former handler Oladunni Oyekale.

Encho Anthony begins: "To be a coach of a government owned club is very huge and honour on my profile" Anthony told OyoSportsNews.

"Crown FC is one of the biggest clubs in Nigeria, when it comes to Nigeria league both at the Nigeria Professional Football League and Nigeria National League the club is not a minor. I was also made to understand that they've done pretty well at the federation cup."

"I want to do things differently. We need to be competing for trophies at the NPFL, and on this note, promotion ticket is very important. The Sports Commissioner made it clear in our discussions last year that my target is to deliver NPFL ticket."

“We all know there is a lot of work to be done to achieve that but I am confident we’ll do it. I’m realistic enough to know it won’t happen overnight but my preparation (pre-season) with the current squad and players on trials will be ready for the task ahead."

On what to expect at the second phase of the club pre-season excercise. Anthony replied OyoSportsNews:

"February is just few weeks to go. I believed from day one of our training all my players must understand that we are now for real business, so each player must give his best so that we all can achieved our set objectives - which is promotion."

"I believe with hard work, commitment, determination, sacrifice and God on our side we are going to get the promotion ticket."
