OPEN TRIALS: ILAJI FC CALLS FOR MORE TALENTS

Ilaji FC Head Coach and Sports Manager, Babatunde Odubola popularly called 'Ziko' has called for more interested players at the open trials currently holding at the football field of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort.


Recall that the Nigeria Nationwide League One last year December granted Ilaji FC approval to participate in the forthcoming league campaign after both parties met in Abuja. 

The open trials kicked off on Monday, January 10th and it is expected to end January 17th, 2022 at Ilaji football pitch, Akanran, Ibadan.


Speaking to OyoSportsNews, Coach Odubola said Ilaji FC management is overwhelmed with the turn out of players from different states and grassroot clubs and also called for more talented players before the trials end next Monday.

"Firstly, we are overwhelmed with the turnout of players for the trials. As we said earlier, accomodations are free for interested players during the exercise. I also want to call on players from grassroot clubs, football academy and schools to give themselves a trial. We shall continue to be fair and professional with our selection and recommendation." He assured.
