Sunshine Stars will be looking to maintain 4-game undefeated run in the Nigeria Professional Football League when they host The Scorpions this evening at the Dipo Dina Intl stadium, Ijebu-ode.

Ayodeji Ayeni's side last tasted defeat on boxing day, December 26 - 1-0 loss against Abia Warriors - and have since embarked on unbeatable run both homes and away fixtures.

Ayodeji Ayeni told OyoSportsNews that the 4-game unbeaten run is giving him confidence, and has charged the players to go victory against Gombe United today at matchday seven.

“I had a discussion with the lads and we've already resolved that we want to go ten match unbeaten. I have done it before when I was with Ekiti United and I will do it again. We are already on a four match unbeaten run and we will achieve our goal”.


After five matches and with one match yet to be played against Wikki Tourists, Sunshine stars currently occupied 14th position on the log with six points, same points for Gombe United.
