Kwara United Technical Adviser, Abdullahi Biffo has blamed his players for loss of concentration towards the end of their match with Shooting Stars of Ibadan.

The Afonja Warriors took the lead in the 61st minute through Alao Danbani but Shooting stars showed their resilience as they rallied to level things up in the 79th minute with a fine strike from substitute Ayo Adejubu. Shooting Stars boys refused to settle for a point as they showed the true warrior spirit after Ebenezer Adeyemi grabbed a late win at the 90+5 minute.

Speaking with OyoSportsNews after the match, Biffo frown at his players' performances and lack of concentration.

“I blame the boys and myself for the loss. I don’t know how it happened but we should not be loosing concentration in the last minutes of matches like this, we will go back and correct our errors”.

He also praised Shooting Stars team spirit for a deserved come back win and paid tribute to former Shooting Stars general manager Rasheed Balogun who died last Thursday.

“The resilience in them is unbelievable they changed their tactics well when they were one goal down and it really worked for them. He [Balogun] was my very good friend till his death and I already said if we win I will dedicate the winning to him but now that Shooting stars have won, I believe they will dedicate it to him."
