AHEAD NUGA: TEAM UI FALLS TO TEAM OYO IN FRIENDLY MATCH

Ahead of the 26th NUGA Games scheduled to hold from March 16 to 26, 2022 at the UNILAG campus and other sports facilities in Lagos State, with over 10,000 students expected to participate in the event.


The University of Ibadan (Team UI) handball team this morning continued their preparations with another friendly outing against Oyo State Handball Team (Team Oyo) at the sports complex of Lekan Salami stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan.


At the end of the match, Team Oyo defeated Team UI 22-12 after two periods.

His time with the club has now concluded after two years and eleven months. The Oluyole Warriors, after their qualification to round 32 early this morning without kicking the ball, following the refusal of Zamfara United FC to show up for the round of 64 fixture at the Area 3 field, Abuja have been expelled from the oldest football competition in Nigeria. In a letter signed by the director for competition, Ruth David, on behalf of the Nigeria Football Federation General Secretary. Five players who were not registered with the Nigeria Football Federation for this year edition were fielded in today's match against Zamfara United.
