Shooting Stars have been linked with a number of players following their unimpressive start at the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) 2021/2022 season. The Oluyole Warriors currently occupy 15th position on the NPFL log after matchday eight and this has been a big concern for fans and stakeholders in the state and beyond.

Recall that the Oyo state governor, Engr Seyi Makinde on November 17, 2021 while donating brand new team buses to 3SC management declared his financial support for Shooting Stars' transfer yearnings and charged them to go for league title.

OyoSportsNews gathered that the state government is ready to support 3SC to fortify the team to get fresh legs that will push the club up especially in the affected areas on the pitch.

However, as fans and football pundits claimed, 3SC need creative player and wingers to boost their scoring chances and the club management is ready to do the needful.

OyoSportsNews reliably gathered that Shooting Stars technical crew has agreed to sign at least two big players. The first player who is a regular starter in the Nigeria Professional Football League has made moves to return to Shooting Stars while the other is willing to play for Shooting Stars.

A top government official who spoke to OyoSportsNews on the condition of anonymity said Shooting Stars are in the market to get reliable legs that will help the team achieve her set goals.

"The areas are clear. We are looking into the market and we have our ideas, we are relaxed - I am relaxed. I am happy with the players we intend to sign, I wish to have the players here on time but it's a process."
