A relaible source inside Oyo state government has debunked media reports that the state government under the ministry for youth and sports has perfected plans to appoint new general manager for shooting stars less 72hours after the demise of Rasheed Shodiya Balogun.
The source who spoke to OyoSportsNews on the condition of anonymity said the public should ignore social media reports and rumours that the state government had made plan to appoint new head for shooting stars - even when the former football administrator was on sick bed for months.

The source said: " Our people don start again ooooo OyoSportsNews. How would the state government or ministry appoint a new general manager for Shooting Stars following Balogun's death. Our people are so funny and heartless. They should stop all this rubbish on social media. For God sake, they should fear God for once. We are here discussing on Balogun's fridau prayer arrangements, what we plan to do, our movement to the venue before the arrival of Islamic clerics and how interested people will find there way to the venue without hitch and stress."

"We are talking about someone who served the state government through his capacity as the general manager at shooting stars. He did well, we all regretted his ailments which affected 3SC's performance since the league kickoff. The nation's football fraternity is in a great mourn at the moment; why and where would such idea or step comes in. I beg our people to desist from rumour and unconfirmed reports "

Meanwhile, OyoSportsNews understood that the family of Rasheed Balogun will soon announce venue, time and date for the fridau prayer.
