Shooting Stars midfielder Aniete Uko has praised 3SC's spirit and second half performance against Kwara United last Wednesday, but sent a warning to the team that consistency is key and the side need to 'carry on' with the good work in thier next league match in Lagos with MFM.

The Oluyole Warriors beat Kwara United 2-1 last Wednesday's NPFL rescheduled fixture that saw Uko being brought in at the second half alongside Ebenezer Odeyemi, Ayo Adejubu and Kolawole Daniel.

Shooting Stars brilliant performance and attacking style of play at the first half produced no goal at the first half with the centre referee separating the two teams for halftime break. But after a solid half-time team talk from Edith Agoye, the boys dominated the second half after a goal down to secure a 2-1 win.

Although full of praise for his side, the former Vandrezzer FC players was wary of his squad dropping focus after an impressive show, and was cautious to make sure the team keep focused in games to come.

"The match against Kwara united gave us a lot of confidence that we can do it no matter the atmosphere and opponent but we know nothing is going to be easy and we need to work hard and work together," he told OyoSportsNews.

"We didn't really started well in the league and it was a big concern for us all, there were matches we should have won convincingly or get a point but we lost. This is very painful because the league is tough and competitive. I believe there are many important games and we need to carry on."

Speaking to OyoSportsNews ahead MFM's Sunday match and what the fans should expect. Uko assured nothing but win.

"Our journey from Ibadan to Lagos is not stressful compare to South/East or North, so we are fresh and ready to go. We must carry on and improve our position on the log. Getting a point here in Lagos will help - MFM are also struggling, they recently lost to Rivers United at home, if we pick point here is good for us."
