EDITH AGOYE: ENYIMBA DEFEAT IS A BITTER PILL TO SWALLOW

Edith Olumide Agoye lamented his side's defeat to Enyimba in the Nigeria Professional Football League matchday five on Sunday evening, describing the result as a "bitter pill to swallow".
Enyimba won the match courtesy of Emmanuel Godwin 86th minute strike before the stoppage time via a superb cross from Wasiu Muhmud after the Oluyole Warriors survived the People's Elephant threats at the first half.
Agoye at the post match interview with newsmen said the defeat was very difficult to take.
"It is very difficult to take, it is very very difficult, I have to be frank with you. I have to go back and see the clip of that action and see what really happened there; when I see that, we see what we can do in the future but it's a very painful one to lose in such a way."
Speaking on his team preparation before Enyimba match, Agoye replied newsmen;
"We know it will be very tricky to play against Enyimba, this is probably the best team in Nigeria football comparing the level we are despite we are just coming back from the NNL. We knew it won't be an easy one, we know what they could do and we've prepared very well. We know if we've done our work very well the result could be different at the second half, if we had scored the two chances; it would have been a different game entirely, may be a point or three points and we could have taken something out of here to Ibadan."
Comparing his team to Remo stars and other teams, Agoye replied that shooting stars are different from other 19 premier league teams.
"Our destiny is in our hands, we don't compare ourself with Remo or any team, the league is about 38 matches. When Remo Stars play against Enyimba or Akwa United, we would see, but we are basically concentrating our team and so far so good we are very happy that five games into the league, our team is improving, with few more games, 3SC will stand tall, toe to toe with other teams in Nigeria football.
