Edith Olumide Agoye insisted Shooting Stars need to be more clinical in front of goal after watching his side secured a slim 1-0 victory at home to Katsina United.

Shooting Stars continued their pursue for first NPFL win of the season after four years at the NNL, and after a scoreless first half performance, former Kwara United prolific scorer, Wasiu Alalade gave the Oluyole Warriors the much needed goal and victory as the Ibadan based club managed a slim win over Katsina United.

At the first half, Shooting Stars attempted 8 shots without finding the net - no doubt, it was indeed a good attacking style but the homers could have ended the match if goals were scored at the opening 45 minutes but again failed to find the net, much to Agoye's frustration.

Speaking on missed chances through corner kicks, set pieces, aerial balls, Agoye replied news men at the post match interview. "At the night when we lost to Lobi Stars, the players had determined to win this match come what may. Naturally, if you see the game apart from set pieces; we created chances in the open play, we are satisfied with the open play but we go back to the drawing board, train and work on set pieces because if you can't score from open play, set pieces is another area you can utilize, at least, we would have options."

Shooting Stars next match is against Adewale SC at the IFA League tomorrow and also Enyimba under Coach Finidi George at the Nigeria Professional Football League next weekend.
