NPFL TRANSFER DEADLINE DAY

The Nigeria Professional Football League transfer window according the League Management Company will officially close today, Friday 30th of September at 12:00 midnight Nigeria time. Kwara United, Remo Stars, Rivers United, Plateau United have been able to swoop for talents, and they have not disappointed so far at the continent (CAF Confederation Cup and CAF Champions league). NPFL clubs have began preparations ahead of the new season with series of friendly matches and pre-season tournaments. Just 15 days ago, NPFL side Niger Tornadoes unveiled 13 new players at the Club’s Secretariat Complex, Ministry Of Sports Development, Minna. However, there is still time for a few more deals to go through on Deadline Day, clubs are also expected to unveil thier players before season kicks off.

The former Ifeanyi Ubah and Warri Wolves forward calmly slotted in the first goal in the 30th minute and headed home the second in the closing minute of the first half of the game played at the FC Ebedei Stadium, Sagamu. The coach Gbenga Ogunbote led technical crew made several changes to the team that defeated Beyond Limits on matchday one as we continue our build up ahead of the upcoming 2022/23 season. Up next is a tie against home lads, FC Ebedei on Sunday morning.

The scouting tournament that featured 10 teams from across the country, was witnessed by top football scouts in Netherlands, Russia and Germany. After a gruelling four-day of intense activities, anxieties and expectations, over 150 players were asked to showcase their talents in different sections as the scouts carefully watch. The Cameroonian clocks 46-years-old and Crown FC fans are wishing him a splendid day. It’s been a good journey for the Cameroonian because of his growth and development in Nigeria football. 4 PLAYERS PICKED AT INIOBONG SCOUTING PROGRAMME

Four young Nigerian players have been selected by the Scout to earn professional contracts in thier respective clubs in Europe. Clubs present at the scouting programme were Ricky mart FC, Rovers FC, Esien FC, Babylon Football Academy and FOVU De Bahame FC from Cameroon. A statement made available to OyoSportsNews stated that players and teams mostly from South-West Nigeria are expected to display thier football talents as top football scouts from France, Netherlands, Russian will be available to select qualified players. The scouting tournament, organised by Nwagwu Chigozie is expected to end on Wednesday, 21st of September 2022.
