The organizers of the NNL/PROSTAR International and Spotlight Hub Monthly Awards have confirmed December 16, 2025 as the day to celebrate outstanding players, referees, and coaches across the Nigeria National League. Among the standout nominees are two of Crown FC’s most influential performers this ongoing season forward Seye Michael Adegbite and goalkeeper Majayogbe Muyiwa.
Their contributions to Crown FC’s early success have been nothing short of remarkable, and their impact cannot be overlooked.
SEYE’S EXPLOSIVE START TO THE SEASON
Seye Adegbite has carried Crown FC’s entire attacking responsibility on his shoulders with maturity, confidence, and ruthless finishing. He began the season in blistering form, scoring three goals in the first two matches to give the Ajilete Warriors the perfect lift-off.
His brace in the league opener against Heartland FC powered Crown FC to a commanding 3–0 win, announcing him as one of the most dangerous forwards in the division. Two weeks later, he delivered when it mattered again, scoring the decisive winner against Abia Comets on Match Day Three.
Seye’s consistency, movement, sharp instinct in the box, and ability to rise in big moments make him truly deserving of his double nomination; Highest Goal Scorer Award and Most Valuable Player.
MUYIWA’S HEROICS BETWEEN THE STICKS
At the opposite end of the pitch, Majayogbe Muyiwa has been equally exceptional. Featuring in two of Crown FC’s opening matches, he produced commanding goalkeeping, breathtaking saves, calm decision-making, and ultimately delivered clean sheets that anchored Crown FC’s victories.
His reflexes, composure, and leadership inside the penalty area brought stability to the team’s defensive structure and ensured Crown FC remained difficult to break down.
Muyiwa’s performances earned him a deserved nomination for the Best Goalkeeper Award, recognizing his crucial role in the club’s impressive start.
The presence of both Seye and Muyiwa on the award list is a testament to Crown FC’s growing influence, discipline, and winning mentality this season. Their individual brilliance has powered the team’s recent victories and placed the Ajilete Warriors among the league’s top performers.
Other honourees include:
Best Referee: Abdulwahab Jibrin (Katsina Referees Council)
Best Coach: Najeeb Mabo (Doma United FC)
Best Goal: Ogonyi Matthew Okpahe (Doma United FC)
The award ceremony, scheduled for the Westpoint Hotel, Wuse Zone 7, Abuja, will host top dignitaries including the DG National Sports Commission Bukola Olopade, NFF President Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, DG NIS Comrade Philip Shaibu, veteran broadcaster Mainasara Ilo, and ex–Super Eagles star Daniel Amokachi.
This first edition of the new NNL season promises to celebrate the very best performers among whom Seye Adegbite and Majayogbe Muyiwa proudly stand as Crown FC’s shining ambassadors.
