YULETIDE BREAK: CROWN FC ROUND OFF PRE-SEASON FIRST PHASE WITH WIN OVER GIDADO

Crown FC players and officials have been given thirteen days break to enable them celebrate Christmas and New year festivals with their love ones.

OyoSportsNews in a chat with the club Team Manager, Monsur Sulaiman, informed that players are expected to return to camp January 3rd, 2022.


“There will be no training starting from tomorrow, the players have been told to celebrate this festive season with their family members and friends. We had a good pre-season matches, it was indeed eye opener per match, we hope this will continue when the players resume next year "



Earlier today, Crown FC continued thier pre-season club friendly in a 2-1 win over Gidado FA at the Kwara Stadium, Ilorin.

Bello Suffian got the Ajilete Warriors in front at the 22nd minute and was quickly doubled by Clement John seven minute later. Effort to reduce the tally paid off when Abdullahi Ojifini found the back of the net at the 45th minute.

Speaking to OyoSportsNews after the match, Crown FC handler, Anthony Encho said players are improving daily.

"Firstly, I thank God for the victory, want to also thank all the old and new players for their commitment and dedication in all the friendly matches."

"I will like to give credit to my technical crew and also the management of Crown. I earlier said when I will start training them in my own pattern and philosophy, I believed they are going to be better and great players. I'm happy they are young and they listen to my instructions.
