Akwa United gaffer, Kennedy Boboye has blamed Akwa United 1-1 draw with Shooting Stars on a "lack of concentration" from his players.

The visitors went ahead in the first half thanks to Utibe Archibong smart finish at the 29 minutes, but succumbed to a late equaliser from Shooting Stars' Ayo Adejubu which denied them three points at the Lekan Salami stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan - and Boboye says his team as a whole were to blame for dropping too deep and letting the Oluyole Warriors back into the match.

"I came here to pick three points, nothing but three points. My plan is to attack and enjoy the game. We conceded a late goal due to lack of concentration from my players."

Asked about the performances of the two teams, Boboye replied: "Of course we played better than Shooting Stars right from the kick-off. Inspite of the 1-0 lead in the first half, we didn't change our plan, we kept on attacking and dominated the game."
