Remo Stars forward, Adekunle Oyedele has praised his teammates despite being held to a disappointing goalless home draw by Nasarawa United at the Stars stadium this evening.
It was ultimately a disappointing draw for the stars, after their first away win over MFM in league opener and 3-0 victory against Heartland last Sunday. But despite the home draw, Adekunle Oyedele has commemded his teammates for showing good spirit throughout the clash.
“It was not the result we wanted but football might be funny and unpredictable at times," Oyedele said. “0-0 is not what we were expecting but it gives us another chance at Dakkada to continue trying to win in our next away fixture."
Oyedele, who was ruled out of the encounter due to injury he picked against Heartland last Sunday told OyoSportsNews that the team aggression, desire and ambition were intact and superb but believed Nasarawa United delay antics affected his side.
Meanwhile, Oyedele could make a quick return in their next trip to Uyo against Dakkada FC if report from the team medical doctor is anything to go by.
