SHOOTING STARS READY FOR THE SEASON - TEAM SKIPPER OMOLOLU WAHEED

Skipper of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, Omololu Abiodun Waheed, has expressed the readiness of the Oluyole Warriors for the 2021/22 NPFL season.

The season gets underway next weekend, with the Ibadan soccer lords making a trip to Gombe for a matchday one clash against fellow NPFL returnee, Gombe United on Saturday.

The 3SC captain told Shooting Stars Media that the team has prepared well enough for the task ahead, assuring the club's teeming supporters and fans of a good outing this season.


"We have done all we have to do as a team to prepare for the new season. Our coaches, led by Edith Agoye, have done well in terms of recruiting quality players and putting the players in shape.

"Our management, under the able leadership of Rasheed Balogun, has equally done well in motivating us ahead of the big task.

"All these factors, have really put us in the right shape and frame of mind for the season and I, on behalf of my colleagues, want to assure our supporters and fans all over the world, that we will not let them down, beginning from next weekend's match in Gombe", declared the 3SC central defender.

While appreciating the unwavering support and backing of the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde for the team, Omololu, assured the Oyo state helmsman, the government and the good people of the pace setter state, that the Oluyole Warriors, will give them something to cheer about at the end of the season.
