As Shooting Stars host Akwa United at the Lekan Salami stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan this afternoon in the matchday two encounter of the Nigeria Professional Football League. Newly signed and registered players have been made public by the club management.

Okikiola helped his side clinch her first ever federation cup title, scoring three goals in the three all draw, Ilaji FC emegerd champions 5-4 on penalties and will represent Oyo state at the National Federation Cup. Before the final match, Okikiola has been a key player for the club after scoring against Crown FC at Durbar stadium in the semi-final match.
