TENNIS: OYO TEENAGER GETS INVITATION TO ZENITH BANK NEXT GENERATION MASTERS

Lagos state is set to host Zenith Bank Next Generation Masters scheduled to start Tuesday, December 14th to Saturday, December 18th under the International Tennis Academy.

The Zenith Bank Next Generation Masters will boast of arguably best Nigeria U-18 to U-21 tennis players in Nigeria.

Ahead of this, Oyo state teenager, Ganiyu Mubarak has been invited based on his current performance and will be at the Lagos Lawn Tennis Club, Onikan.


Competition secretary, Carol Amahon told OyoSportsNews that players outside Lagos state are expected to arrive Monday, 13th of December. He explained further that feeding and accomodation have been provided during the championship.


Recall that Ganiyu Mubarak, 14, was also part of the winners at SNEPCo Junior Tennis Championship in Port Harcourt that ended last month. At the national competition, he has won over 15 trophies and represented Nigeria on three occasion at international tournaments.
