Shooting Stars assistant coach, Kabir Alausa admitted his players were below par at the semi final match against Ilaji FC.

Non- league side, Ilaji FC were forced to a 3-3 draw at the Lekan Salami stadium Adamasingba Ibadan at the ongoing GSM Pre-season Tournament which is expected to end tomorrow.

No doubt, Shooting Stars were outplayed by Ilaji FC and had to go 3-1 down after conceding the first goal at the opening 11 minutes.

Speaking to OyoSportsNews after the match, Kabir Alausa said:

"Right from the beginning we said we're playing pre-season, we are testing our players and we want to know how they feel and their condition. Today, we played against a young, energetic, mobile and a football academy side. They played very well. We were not there yet, I can only say we are presently at 60 to 70 percent."

Shooting Stars had to wait till injury time to get a deserved penalty which was largely complained by fans and Ilaji FC as a dubious and questionable decision. The Oluyole Warriors went on to send Ilaji FC out of the competition with 4-2 penalty shoot-out.
