Remo Stars forward, Adekunle Oyedele has backed his side to keep improving after thier pre-season success and challenge for titles under new technical adviser, Gbenga Ogunbote.

The former ABS of Ilorin player was part of the players that were unveiled today ahead of the Nigeria Professional Football League starting this weekend.


Remo Stars will commence the new NPFL season with a clash against Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry Football Club (MFM FC) on Friday, 17th December 2021 at the Mobalaji Johnson Arena, formerly known as Onikan Stadium.

"Remo stars should always win, that’s our DNA, we always play to win," said Oyedele, speaking to OyoSportsNews after the unveiling event 


"We want to be fighting for everything this season, both the league, AIETO cup and even the state FA. Everyone is very ambitious, we want to give everything to get as far as possible in every competition, so let's keep working and Friday, we are focused on an important game against MFM in Lagos."

The former FC Saxan of Moldova who netted eight goals in nine appearances and FC Hapoel of Israel striker added: "I think we had enough preparations at the pre-season, our new coach has really helped us as a team to get our balance, we are determined, focused and prepared for the league."
