Shooting Stars came from 3-1 down and end the the match 3-3 draw courtesy of 90+8 minutes penalty kick converted by Akilu Mohammed. The Oluyole Warriors went ahead to win the tough encounter 4-2 on penalties.
Dimeji Lawal in a chat with OyoSportsNews said:
"Real good side tutored by my cousin coach Tunde Odubola, good display of techniques and tactics, on & off the field, it was a game that really stretched us to limits, our lapses observed and our strong points noted. It was a game we took some knowledge from, it wasn't a game to forget quickly. Kudos to Ilaji fc and congratulations to our boys for their resilience and commitment. My thanks to OYO FA for ds platform."
Shooting Stars will tomorrow face Oyo State Housing Corporation FC at the final stage 4pm while Ilaji FC will tackle Ogbomoso ZFA at the losers final 2pm. Match will hold at Lekan Salami stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan.
There is a lot of work to be done on this team paraded by 3SC.
ReplyDeleteThe team cannot be said to be prepared for the NPFL. The NPFL would never be a tea party for all comers.
3SC is a brand not only in Nigeria, Africa but the world at large.
