Ayo Adejubu rescued a point for Shooting Stars with a late equaliser against Akwa United and his solo finish was then branded “stupid” by Akwa United Head Coach Kennedy Boboye.


Asked about his overall assessment on the match, Boboye was quick to replied: "We played very well but we conceded a stupid goal due to lack of concentration from my players."

On the Nigeria Professional Football League table, Remo Stars and Enyimba currently occupied first and second position respectively with six points. Akwa United are on third position with four points while Shooting Stars are on 15th position with two points after matchday two.

Okikiola helped his side clinch her first ever federation cup title, scoring three goals in the three all draw, Ilaji FC emegerd champions 5-4 on penalties and will represent Oyo state at the National Federation Cup.
