ILAJI FC GETS APPROVAL TO PARTICIPATE AT NLO

2021 semi finalist at the just concluded GSM Pre-season Tournament, Ilaji FC has been given approval by the Nigeria Nationwide League body to participate at the Nigeria Nationwide League One 2021/2022 season.


Ilaji FC, a team primarily designed as a football academy is owned and managed by Chief Dotun Sanusi who doubles as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort.



OyoSportsNews In a private chats with Ilaji FC Head Coach and Sports Manager, Babatunde Odubola popularly called 'Ziko' informed that Ilaji FC will officially participate at the Nigeria Nationwide League One next season. He stressed further that the team has been officially registered and approved by the league body.



"I'm glad to inform you that we will be participating at the next NLO next season for the first time. Approval and registration have been completed, confirmed and granted. As at now, groupings are yet to be conducted as well as stadium inspection."

"Our plan is to take our dream, mission and vision to next level with this idea, we hope we can achieve more with this participation."



Meanwhile, the former Shooting Stars coach said Ilaji football pitch has been submitted as venue for home fixtures but subjects to NLO approval.

Okikiola helped his side clinch her first ever federation cup title, scoring three goals in the three all draw, Ilaji FC emegerd champions 5-4 on penalties and will represent Oyo state at the National Federation Cup.
