WASIU ALALADE RETURNS! 3SC STRIKER RETURNS TO TRAINING FOR FIRST TIME AFTER GETTING MARRIED

Wasiu Alalade this morning returned to Shooting Stars training for the first time and also had the opportunity to train and meet with Shooting Stars three new signings [Sunday Faleye, who is returning to the team, Achreche Sunday and Niyi Adekunle] at the Lekan Salami stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan.


The former ABS player spent his time off tying the knot with wife Zainab Omotayo, with two days honeymoon in Ilorin (Kwara state) and with former team-mates [Issah Gata, Nasir Afeez, Deji Bamidele and others] all attended the ceremony held near Shehu Sakaty mosque, sango, Ilorin.



But the preparation ahead of the Nigeria Professional Football League matchday 12 against Dakkada is well underway as Wasiu is fully ready to be part in the team selection on Sunday.



The 22-year-old looked in good spirits as he was seen laughing and joking with Ebenezer Odeyemi, Gafar Olafimihan, Omololu Waheed and other shooting stars players.

Speaking to OyoSportsNews after his return, Alalade fondly called Despy gave God the glory for the success of the Nikkah ceremony. "Alhamdulillah for everything God has done - before, during and after my Nikkah ceremony. I want to thank everyone who took their time to come, and also show love through text messages or phone calls and on my social media handles. My coaches, fans, former teammates, families, I can't remember all at the moment, I'm overwhelmed and I appreciate everyone."



The former Kwara United player shares his feelings four days after tying the knot with his longtime girlfriend.

"I feel excited because it's part of life, it is also another step in life. To have a wife, a home and a family is a privilege and God's grace. I feel so happy. And on my wedding, God made it possible because God time is the best."



Alalade further said marriage would impact positively on his game.

"We've been together for years and she understands the nature of my profession. I've never thought marriage would distract or affect my career, in fact, it will further help me to achieveing my set goals. Before now, I have families, relatives and we are together for a while, Instead, I will be motivated because I will want her to be very proud of me after every game, I will do more and more for her to be happy when she see me doing great and the best on the pitch. I believe this new step will bring lot of blessings to my life and career."



The former Enyimba player has netted twice for 3SC at the ongoing season [Katsina United and Sunshine Stars]. He's excited seeing shooting stars new signings on the pitch, he believed they will add a lot to the team on their respective positions.
