REMO STARS 🆚 3SC: OGUNBOTE TALKS TOUGH AHEAD S/W DERBY

Gbenga Ogunbote's side will host Shooting Stars tomorrow [Sunday] at the Nigeria Professional Football League matchday 11 at Remo Stars stadium.

Remo Stars currently occupy second position on the log with 20 points, five points ahead Shooting Stars - placed 6th on the standings.


Speaking in a press conference organised by the club media officer on Saturday night alongside his captain Junior Nnduka, Ogunbote said his side have respect for Shooting Stars, but they will approach the game with everything they have with hope to get positive result.

"No body expect tomorrow's match to be a push over for us and also for Shooting Stars. We are going to raise our game and I also expect Shooting Stars to do same. I know what comes into derby but we're prepared for this."

Asked what to expect considering shooting stars recent results and performance in their last three matches, Ogunbote replied newsmen;

"I don't like comparing my team with any other team, Remo Stars are different with other teams, we would get focus and get what we can get from it, fans should come and support us as usual and we'll do our best to make them happy."

On the team inability to sore goals both at home and away fixtures, Ogunbote told newsmen; "It has been a pertinent challenge to all team, every coach would be worried when they score or not scoring more, we'll work on scoring tactics, play good game and get success".

Meanwhile, captain of the side, Junior Nnduka said the team secrets to recent results is determination, focus and tactical instructions being laid down by the coach. He said tomorrow's match won't be different from Rivers United, Heartland and others, he also expects lots of enthusiasm in tomorrow's derby encounter..
