3SC head coach Edith Agoye is eager to finish the Nigeria Professional Football League season strongly after securing 1-0 victory over Dakkada FC on Sunday.

A 78th minute goal from Sunday Faleye ensured Agoye returned to winning way after last defeat to Remo stars at the Remo stars stadium, Ikenne.

Seven points separate the sides from table leader Rivers United in the Nigeria Professional Football League standings, with the Oluyole Warriors fans now permitted to watch thier darling club next home game [on sunday against Wikki Tourists] after Wednesday's away fixture to Plateau United in Jos.

However, Agoye wants his side to finish the season on a high rather than struggling to escape relegation.

"It is always important that after the disappointment in Ikenne where our momentum were halted, it's always important we get back into winning ways - we were happy we are able to do that and we hope to build on the momentum going into the league again."

Shooting Stars currently occupied 6th position on the log after 12 matches with 18points. The warriors are expected to leave Ibadan for Wednesday fixture against Plateau United in Jos.
