AGOYE PRAISES ‘QUALITY FOOTBALLER’ FALEYE AFTER IMPRESSIVE PERFORMANCE

Edith Agoye has praised new signing Sunday Faleye after he made an huge impact on his debut as Shooting Stars edged Dakkada FC of Uyo 1-0 this evening at Lekan Salami stadium.


The matchday 12 encounter produced no goal at the first half after the Oluyole Warriors again failed to convert scoring chances from the likes of Ebenezer Odeyemi, Ayo Adejubu and Kolawole Daniel.

However, Edith Agoye brought in Sunday Faleye, Taofeek Malomo and Wasiu Alalade for Ebenezer Odeyemi, Ayo Adejubu, Kolawole Daniel respectively at the 57th minute and it finally paid off 22nd minutes later.


Speaking at the post match interview, Agoye told newsmen that Sunday Faleye's is a big addition to the team.


"Definitely, Sunday is a big addition to the team, the goal he scored today is an example of what he can bring to any team and we are very happy everything we thought before bringing him in - in few minutes he has been able to demonstrate that, we can only hope that he would build on this momentum right from now and you would see more of him."
