Edith Agoye admits Shooting Stars may have been "lucky" to get a point at home against visiting Wikki Tourists of Bauchi.

The Oluyole Warriors dropped another points at home at the matchday 14 of the Nigeria Professional Football League after last Wednesday 3-1 loss to Plateau United in Jos.

Agoye said his team played against an experience side that were not new to the league.

"The game ended 0-0, it could have gone either way, it could have gone the ways of Wikki - they had thier chances most especially in the first half, we were very lucky not to have conceded but I think in the second half we were much better - we try to create something but unfortunately we couldn't do enough to score a goal".

"Wikki Tourists are a strong team, physically and tactically. Normally, our game is to build from the back but we couldn't do that due to obvious reasons and anytime we build from the back; we got the better of them. It is a very good game for us to learn and we take lessons from this game and move forward."

  3. Every NPFL is a tough game, more dangerous and difficult playing against a veteran coach with lots of experience in NPFL, personally i am glad we were not defeated at home, Kabiru Dogo is years ahead in ds division, I want to appreciate my technical crew and players for giving enough to avoid home defeat. Our focus is shifted to the next game now, we mooooove.
