Crown FC coach Anthony Encho has showered his team with praise after a hard fought win over Warri Wolves at the Nigeria National League matchday two fixture.

The Ajilete Warriors took the lead 6th minute into the game courtesy of Dennis Meshack solo finish but conceded two minutes later at the 8th minute. Several efforts made by the Ajilete Warriors to regain the lead proved abortive as the home side were unlock with several wasted scoring chances.

Anthony Encho boys, after a goalless result at Oba against Nnewi United last Sunday in matchday one finally took the lead from Dennis Meshack, his first brace for the Ogbomoso based team after his mid season transfer deal.

A delighted Encho said: "My boys played very well, we dominated the game from the kick-off to the final whistle, I like to play a possession game and you can see what happened today. My players lost little concentration immediately we scored, they were overwhelmed by the early lead and got distracted but we kept pushing and we got a deserved win."

"This is our second match, and as I said - we shall continue to correct some mistakes and work on areas necessary to achieveing our promotion target. If you want to promote, you must win, win and win."

"My overall assessment is that my boys played very, they deserve the accolades today. I'm happy and want this to continue."

Crown FC next league match is against FC One Rocket and Encho has promised to keep the momentum going.

"We go again into another away game, we are going to build on this result, get the team prepare and look fresh and believe in ourselves."
