OFFICIAL: MUAZU REJOINS CROWN FC FROM GOMBE UTD

It has been announced that Taiwo Muazu has left Gombe United to rejoin Crown FC of Ogbomoso.

Having left the Soun township stadium, [home ground for the Ajilete Warriors] in 2019 as an attacking midfielder, he returns on a year deal as he helped Gombe United earned Nigeria Professional Football League promotion ticket last year.


Muazu became a crucial figure under former Crown FC gaffer Oladunni Oyekale two seasons ago — and he's expected to bring with experience at the middle of the park for Crown FC who are currently tutored by Anthony Encho.

The club general manager, Kunle Oyeleye is similarly excited about the transfer.

"Taiwo has shown us that ambition that we need and that winning mentality, all he understands is win, win and win , he's not new to our ambition and how to achieve it and I'm really happy he's decided to return here."


The Nigeria National League commenced this weekend and Crown FC will be against Nnewi United in away fixture at at Rojenny Stadium, Oba. Crown FC finished 6th on the log last season [2020/20] with 33points after 10wins, 3draws and 9defeats (33points) on group B2 standings.
