Remo Stars Head Coach Gbenga Ogunbote says he's not after the league title as the Nigeria Professional Football League enters matchday 12. The newly promoted side are unbeaten in eleven matches which placed them first on the latest standings with the latest home win result against Shooting Stars in a South/West derby.

Junior Nduka's 62nd minute freekick goal gave Remo stars a 1-0 victory over the Oluyole Warriors, which Ogunbote described as his toughest derby encounter. Ogunbote emphasized that his team are under pressure to keep their status at the NPFL, adding that anything other thing is a bonus to the club.

Asked if the team is a title contender and under pressure to win the league, the former Shooting Stars, Sunshine Stars, Gateway United and Rangers soccer tactician replied immediately without delay.

"I'm not under pressure to win the league, I'm only under pressure to keep the club at the league. We are still underdog, all we're trying to do is to avoid drop, if anything comes after that - it a bonus."

"Honestly, the moment we go beyond aspiring to win the league it will amount to unnecessary pressure on the team. I have a name to protect, I have an integrity, I know what fits my integrity."

"At the end of the season, I was us to finish in an appreciable position, what the management want is to avoid drop." The former Giwa FC of Jos gaffer concluded.
