Gafar Olafimihan is back from injury and it couldn't have been timed better. With Shooting Stars's attack still lacking that cutting edge, Olafimihan could prove to be the missing piece of the puzzle in unlocking 3SC's attack.

3SC boss, Edith Agoye at a news brief with OyoSportsNews before Dakkada matchday 12 revealed that Gafar Olafimihan has a minor knock against Remo Stars at Ikenne and was sidelined for medical attention.

This will come as a more than welcome addition to an attacking line that is, on the whole, lacking output. Sunday Faleye's performances in recent weeks have been impressive, but Ebenezer Odeyemi, Olatunji Damilare and Kolawole Daniel are yet to begin firing consistently. With right back Augustine Bafan ruled out, there is now a real possibility that Gafar Olafimihan can get some meaningful minutes.

A top club off told OyoSportsNews; "The good news is, Gafar Olafimihan is back, and back in the squad for Saturday's league match."

Meanwhile, Shooting Stars will be at Okigwe township stadium for Abia Warriors matchday 15 of the Nigeria Professional Football League on Saturday.
