ANTHONY ENCHO: “WE’RE BATTLE READY FOR NNL”

Crown FC of Ogbomoso Head Coach, Anthony Encho says his players are battle ready for the Nigeria National League 2021/2022 billed to start February 11, 2022.
Recall the former ABS of Ilorin coach joined the Ajilete Warriors and was unveiled by the Oyo state commissioner for youth and sports Hon Asiwaju Seun Fakorede on November 17, 2021 at the ministry for youth and sports secretariat office.
The Cameroonian soccer tactician has posted good results and tremendous performances at the pre-season matches with Crown FC recording the latest 2-0 victory over Rehoboth FC on Saturday, February 5, 2022.
With large numbers of new players and new football ideology and philosophy, Encho is confident his players have what it takes to kick off the new Nigeria National League campaign against Nnewi United in away fixture come next weekend.
Speaking to OyoSportsNews after the Nigeria National League body released fixtures, venues and dates for the new season and after his latest 2-0 win over Rehoboth FC courtesy of Oginni Olatunbosun and Olayemi Jacob strikes. Encho said his players fear no team as the league starts less than four days.
"Firstly, I want to thank God for his grace and mercy upon my life to see that the boys are getting better day by day. I have completed my screening and also rounding up with my some of the preseason friendly games."
On his overall assessmment, Encho, who was happy that the indomitable lions of Cameroon got the medals at the best losers' final said: "On my assessment after pre-season matches, I strongly believed we are set to go, we are battle ready. As a professional football coach, some corrections would be made in the course of the league because that is the nature of our job. As I said earlier, we still have to work in our final third but the boys are ready."
Reacting to question on league opener against Nnewi United next weekend, Anthony Encho said his boys are hundred percent ready for three points.
"Nnewi united is a great club but let wait and see how the game go. We are going there to pick three points by the special grace of God, my boys and I are ready to give hundred percent performance. I assure you nothing but victory."
The Nigeria National League commenced this weekend and Crown FC will be against Nnewi United in away fixture. Crown FC finished 6th on the log last season [2020/20] with 33points after 10wins, 3draws and 9defeats (33points) on group B2 standings.
