Shooting Stars gaffer Edith Olumide Agoye admits that seeing the turnstiles locked for the first time this season at Lekan Salami stadium is s strange feelings and moment for him - but believes his players will certainly brace themselves for playing behind closed doors and get positive result from it.

Agoye has been preparing for Dakkada home fixture after the team 1-0 lost to Remo stars last Sunday but was shocked after the League Management Company announced and ordered that shooting stars next home match is to be played without fans due to the post match crowd violence at Remo Stars stadium.

He said: " I have to be very frank with you, we would miss the fans because they are very strong supporters, very passionate and most of the time their passion drive the players, coaches beyond our limit to perform. Fans are important in any football club and we could see it from some of the results we got - scoring at the 90+ minute against Kwara united, scoring four goals against Heartland when everyone felt it would be difficult."

"I think this is the fact that they are always behind us, we would miss them very well but I can assure the fans we would do everything possible to win the game, so that next home game will be a renew of hope."

Shooting Stars host Dakkada FC tomorrow at the Lekan Salami stadium Adamasingba Ibadan by 4pm.
