Shooting Stars have confirmed the return of Sunday Adeyemi Faleye, who has signed a short term deal.


The 23-year old striker begins his second spell at the club having originally left in 2018 for Akwa United. The Nigeria international left Nigeria for SCR Altach, Wacker Innstbruck II both in Austria and later to Czech [Dukla Prague]. He joined Shooting Stars on a six months loan deal.

Club media officer, Tosin Omojola on a radio sports show on Solution FM confirmed the return of the young striker. ‘‘Yea I will like to confirm the story - it’s true, we’ve been on it for some time and I’m happy to inform you that we’ve sealed the deal. Like you said 6 months loan from his Czech based club, he’s already in town and he will be joining us. We are happy to have him, its confirmed Sunday faleye is back with us"

OyoSportsNews reliably gathered that Sunday Faleye is not in contention for today's Nigeria Professional Football League matchday nine fixture against Heartland FC at the Lekan Salami stadium, Adamasingba Ibadan.
