Shooting Stars are looking to get to the top of the Nigeria Professional Football League this season, and therefore it's no surprise that the club is reportedly taking aim at former Oluyole Warriors superstar player, Sunday Faleye OyoSportsNews report.
According to www.osnews.com.ng, Shooting Stars boss Edith Olumide Agoye would love to have the former player back at the Lekan Salami stadium, as both a player and a coach. Osnews.com.ng adds that the club is planning to offer the experience striker the opportunity in the NPFL next transfer window.
Although Sunday isn't the same player he was from 2017 to 2018, when he was lighting up Lekan Salami stadium —from a physical standpoint—the 23-year-old Nigeria international is still a lethal finisher after four different clubs [Akwa United, SCR Altach, Wacker Innstbruck II and Dukla Prague. He has been solid for his two previous clubs since his departure.
OyoSportsNews gathered that "there is a belief" among those at 3SC that he can play at a high level for at least another seven months."
Plus, in addition to his physical talent, Sunday has an incredible amount of knowledge to offer 3SC's young players, something Agoye is clearly aware of. After all, Sunday has excelled as an elite forward in Austria and Czech [Europe].
Meanwhile, OyoSportsNews is eagerly waiting for Shooting Stars' official statement concerning Sunday Adeyemi Faleye signing.
