NNL 2ND ROUND: ANTHONY ENCHO TELLS CROWN PLAYERS TO BE 'BRAVE'

Crown FC of Ogbomoso head coach Anthony Encho has urged his players to be "brave" starting from this weekend's trip to Ebonyi state for Nigeria National League fixture against Cynosure FC.The Ajilete Warriors travel to Abakaliki with an ambitions of securing a promotion ticket after rounding off the Nigeria National League Southern group B 2 first stanza with 20points. Anthony's men sit second in the table, a point behind table leaders Go Round FC with 21points.
Crown FC, meanwhile, are still unbeaten at home with six wins in six matches this season and have picked two points in away matches against Nnewi United and FC One Rocket.
Speaking to OyoSportsNews, Anthony praised his players for a wonderful and brilliant performance at the first stanza of the league stars, in particular the way they overcame Sporting FC and Bayelsa United in their last two home matches. He, however urged them to be brave, and ready for the big task ahead in the second stanza.
"Firstly, I want to thank the fans, supporters and the great people Ogbomoso land, I really appreciate thier supports with the team since the start of the league. They've been wonderful and supportive."
"The player are aware of the task ahead - particularly at this period, the job is not yet done and we must continue to fight and make sure we get to the top of the table and consolidate it. We must make sure we double our efforts, determination and increase that winning mentality we show against Bayelsa, we must avoid distractions, complacency at this point in time." He concluded.Meanwhile, Crown FC are expected to add fresh legs into the team at the mid season transfer window. A private chat with the club team manager Monsur Suleiman hinted that the Ajilete Warriors are hoping to sign at least four new players to strengthen the squad before the end of the mid-season transfer window.
