NLO: ILAJI FC OPTIMISTIC OVER PROMOTION

Ilaji FC manager and head coach, Babatunde Odubola has said his side’s promotion agenda to the Nigeria National League is very much on course.
The Nationwide League One side are currently top of the group C2 on goal difference with 16 points, after six wins and a draw from eight matches. The league debutant are closely followed by Abraysports with the same points and number of matches.
With the Nationwide league scheduled to resume this May 31st, Babatunde Odubola has told OyoSportsNews that side is taking the promotion campaign seriously and have mapped out detailed programme that will see to its realization.
"Right from the commencement of the league, our target is to promote to the national league in our first season and you can see our results from matchday one. We are new comers but we know what we want and how to go about it."
"Some said we are "J.J.C", but football is beyond that. If you have solid preparations, good players, discipline team and good welfare. I don't think being new to the league matters."
"Our main target is to promote, we are on course and very optimistic. The second stanza is very important and crucial but we are well prepared."
