Shooting Stars were a bit dominant in the first half of the match as they created few chances going forward in order to draw first blood against Niger Tornadoes. The Oluyole Warriors eventually took the lead in the 6th minute as Moses Omoduemuke found the back of the net with a beautiful effort to make the scoreline 1-0 in favour of the Ibadan based side.
Shooting Stars' brilliant performance dropped in the second half of the match as they were surprisingly outplayed by Tornadoes.
