Crown FC of Ogbomoso players came back from a goal down to seal a brilliant 2-1 victory over Bayelsa United in the Nigeria National League rescheduled match held on Wednesday at the LAUTECH football pitch, Ogbomoso.
Two minutes after the restart of second half, Favour Martins capped a fine display with a magnificent volley to earn Bayelsa United the lead after a breathless contest at the first half.
With a bumper to bumper situation on the NNL group B2 standings, Crown FC needed a win to keep their promotion vision alive having had an impressive home record this season.
After several wasted opportunities, Yussuf Taiye fired home a leveller for Anthony Encho's boys at the 68th minute inside the box as they continue to search for a winning goal. A super rocket free-kick by Abdulrafiu Taiwo at the 90+6 minute finally gave the home a come back win over Bayelsa United.
Anthony Encho after the match told newsmen his overall assessment on the sweet victory.

"It was indeed a tough match today, we knew it would be difficult and we prepared well ahead. We were still unable to convert scoring chances at the much-needed time as it affected us at the first half but I believe with some technical instructions at the training and inclusion of new players we shall get over this stage."
"The away team try to play us out of possession but I told the boys to put the ball on the ground which had been our style of play, and this gave us the sweet victory towards the end of the game."
The former ABS handler believed his boys will do well in the second round of the Nigeria National League billed to restart on Friday 13th of May, 2022.
"I believed by the start of the second round, the boys will increase their scoring abilities and do well in terms of possession."
