Supporters Club of the Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), has poured encomiums on the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde for giving full backing to the current management of the team.


Speaking at the governor's office on Wednesday, during the official presentation of buses to the club by governor Makinde, Chairman, Oyo State General Sports Supporters, Mr Femi Oyeniyi, eulogised governor Makinde, describing him as the pillar of the Oluyole Warriors.

"Your Excellency, we cannot thank you enough for your support. Your backing for this team is unprecedented.

"This is the first time something big is happening to this club in recent times. We are quite aware that our promotion was made possible by your support. We are very grateful and we pray that you will continue to soar high", said Oyeniyi.

"Having said this sir, like Oliver Twist, we will demand for more. We shall be very gals if you can appreciate these players who fought hard to gett the promotion ticket and we are also appealing to you to give a bus to the Supporters Club.

"We will like to follow the team to every match venue and the provision of a bus for us will help to make our journeys easy", added the supporters club boss, who also hailed the governor for returning Asiwaju Seun Fakorede as the state's Commissioner for Youth and Sports.
