GSM PRE-SEASON: 3SC UP AGAINST FAMILIAR FOE, AS ILAJI FC MAKE DEBUT

The Oyo State Football Association has released the draws for the second edition of Gov Seyi Makinde Pre-season Tournament, officially kick-off tomorrow, Thursday, December 2nd through Tuesday, December 7th, 2021.


The venue for the second edition will take place at the refurbished Lekan Salami stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan.


In the draw conducted on Tuesday, Nigeria Professional Football League side, Shooting Stars are grouped in A alongside Corner Stones and Young Stars. Group B: GROUP B, Pace Setters Intl, Ilaji FC and a team from Ibadan Football Association representatives, DON FA will lock horns.


GROUP C will see Ogbomoso United trading tackles alongside Oke Ogun United and Oyo Zonal FC while the last group has paraded Positive FC, Oyo State Housing Corporation and Ogbomoso Zonal FC.


The first kick off match is Corner Stones against Young stars at 8am while Pace Setters will battle Ilaji FC by 10am. Ogbomoso United will be up against Oke Ogun while the last match of the day is between Positive FC and Oyo state housing corporation at 12noon and 4om respectively.

Okikiola helped his side clinch her first ever federation cup title, scoring three goals in the three all draw, Ilaji FC emegerd champions 5-4 on penalties and will represent Oyo state at the National Federation Cup.
