AYO OLOPON COMPETITION HOLDS IN IBADAN

The final of the Second Edition of an Ayo Olopon Competition organized by the Oyo State Sports Council, in memory of a former Chairman of the State Traditional Games Association, Chief Oladimeji Obakin will come up on the 17th of November 2021.

 The three day competition sponsored by the late sports administration's family had started on Monday, 15th of November 2021.


According to a press release issued by the Secretary, Oyo State Traditional Sports Associations, Alhaja Fatimat Badmus, games of the first two days of competition took place at  Race  course of Lekan Salami Sports Complex Adamasingba Ibadan. 

The grand finale will be held at the residence of Chief Obakin in Ring road Ibadan.

Okikiola helped his side clinch her first ever federation cup title, scoring three goals in the three all draw, Ilaji FC emegerd champions 5-4 on penalties and will represent Oyo state at the National Federation Cup.
