NNL: ABS ANNOUNCE RESUMPTION DATE

Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC, will resume for the 2021/2022 Nigeria National League season on Monday, November 29th, 2021.

In a statement made available to OyoSportsNews through the club Co-ordinator, Malik Olasunkanmi said the players have untill Saturday, November 27th to return to Ilorin, Kwara state. He stated that Sunday is a free day for them to acclimatize with the weather before work begins on Monday.


The statement explained further that all technical staff and players are expected to report to the Main Bowl of the Kwara Stadium Complex, Ilorin from 10am on Monday.


Olasunkanmi also wished players and staff a safe trip back to the state of Harmony as they set to go into the new season with a renewed mission.

This early move is seen as a significant step in his vision to reposition the Ibadan-based club for domestic dominance and continental relevance. Despite the high turnover of players, Shooting Stars recorded no continental football qualification and did not reach the Federation Cup final.
