MATCH REPORT: CROWN FC HAMMER MASIFA 4-0 IN PRE-SEASON

Good news for Anthony Encho and supporters of Crown FC as the club this evening defeated Masifa United 4-0 in a warm up match ahead for the 2021/2022 Nigeria National League season.

OyoSportsNews at the Baptist Theological seminary Football Pitch saw the football event and it was 3-0 halftime result.

Speaking to OyoSportsNews, Anthony Encho explained his plan before the match and what transpired during the match.


"I used most of the players I know their qualities in the first half, they were able to gain possession but they lost the control in their half. This is very dangerous to my side, it may result to counter attack and a goal. I think they are yet to understand my football philosophy."

"In the second half, I used another set of players but to my surprise, they were able to press harder but goals were not coming unlike first half where they scored three goals. They only scored a goal."

The former ABS of Ilorin gaffer said his players must gear up speedily to his tactics as the new season is fast approaching.

"They just have to understand and showcase the theoretical aspect on the picth. I believe in them, they are my family.

The delegation made up of 10 players and three officials left the shores of Nigeria via a flight from the international wing of the Muritala Mohammad Airport on Tuesday for Lisbon.
