AFFILIATION: GRAFTADEAN COMMENDS OYO FA OVER PEACEFUL MEETING

The president, Grassroots Football Talents Developers Association of Nigeria (GRAFTADEAN,Oyo state Chapter) Coach Abiodun Lawal has commended Oyo State Football Association under the leadership of Chief James Odeniran over a peaceful resolution on affiliation letter issued to the association.

Lawal, who gave the commendation in a statement made available to OyoSportsNews on Wednesday morning said the meeting was maturely conducted and handled by both parties.



"We were made us to realize certain missteps in the procedures of the affiliation. We also cleared air on running a parallel Association to antagonize the Coaches Association in the State who coincidentally is also an affiliate of the FA even before us. We also thanked the FA for providing us the avenue to present our defense."

Speaking to OyoSportsNews, FA secretary, Mr Kehinde Ojelowo said the meeting was not an official gathering but the outcome will be relayed at the next executive meeting.
