DON FA, YOUNG STARS NOMINATED FOR GSM PRE-SEASON TOURNAMENT

The Ibadan Football Association (IFA) has nominated two teams that will represent them at the forthcoming Governor Seyi Makinde Pre-season Tournament.


A WhatApp Message made available to OyoSportsNews by the association chairman, Barrister Rotimi Alli confirmed two representatives that was picked from the ongoing IFA League.

DON Football Academy and Young stars FC have been nominated as a result of their performances on the current IFA league standing. The second edition of the pre-season tournament is expected to start December 3rd to 7th at the refurbished Lekan Salami stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan.


The message read: "This is to inform the management of Don fc and young stars fc that Ibadan football Association has nominated them as her representatives in the forthcoming GSM pre season tournament coming up between 3rd---7th December 2021 at Lekan Salami stadium. Our decision is based on the present positions of the two teams on the IFA league table."

Barrister Alli, however, implored the two teams to be good ambassadors of IFA and make the association proud.

Meanwhile, OyoSportsNews gathered that the association has promised to support the two teams in area of logistics.
