OYELEYE HAILS GOV MAKINDE'S SUPPORT OVER BUS DONATION TO CROWN FC

The Management of Crown FC under the headship of Kunle Oyeleye has heaped encomiums on the state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde over the gift of Bus to the Team.

The Ogbomoso based side, yesterday also unveiled a new Head Coach, Encho Anthony who will guide the team in the coming season. Oyeleye who was also confirmed as the the club general manager last week was excited with recent fortunes.

In statement made available to OyoSportsNews, Oyeleye expressed his happiness over the new 22 coaster bus.

"We are over the moon for this kind gesture extended to the club by the state governor, to be given such a bus

at a time like this is exceedingly exhilarating. Our governor has proven once again to be a 'Prophet of Boom', who knows where the shoe pinches."

"Your Excellency, we affirm the Coaster bus donated to us is a tonic that will automatically spur Crown FC to a greater pedestal as the new season is heralding. We are condemned to re-enact the Shooting Stars' feat next season by God's grace so that Oyo State will have two clubs in the elite division. This kind gesture is a reflection of Your Excellency's resolve to promote sports in the state especially now that you have given us your word as a Man who’s largely driven by integrity."

Engr. Makinde who presented and handed over the Toyota Coast bus key to the Kunle Oyeleye also promised to support Crown FC.

“We are giving this Coaster Bus to ease your movement. I am here also promising you that if you also gain promotion, you will get the same thing. Who says we cannot have two NPFL teams here? We can and we will support that.

“We have asked them to renovate the Ogbomoso Township stadium and I know they are doing that. I look forward to coming in to watch some of your matches.”

Recall that Crown FC delivered a premier league ticket to former Governor, Otunba Christopher Alao Akala led administration in 2010 and repeated the same feat to Governor Ajimobi’s Government in 2013.

Oyeleye said further that Crown FC management is equally extolling the virtues of the Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Asiwaju Seun Fakorede for bringing results to the ministry with his constant commitment on youths empowering program.
