Crown FC of Ogbomoso players were said to be ‘buzzing’ after they came face to face with their new Head Coach Anthony Encho for the first time on Thursday.

Recall that the commissioner for youth and sports Asiwaju Seun Fakorede unveiled Coach Encho Anthony on Wednesday as the new Head Coach for Crown FC for the Nigeria National League 2021/2022 season.


Shorty after this, Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde also presented a new Toyota 22seater coaster bus to ease the movement of the team for the new season.

On Monday, Crown players had resumed training at the Soun High School under thier assistant coach Tajudeen Raheem, but Anthony has finally met his new squad at the training centre after he was introduced to the players by the club general manager Kunle Oyeleye.

Anthony, 45, promised to improve every player on the condition that they buy into his ultra-demanding philosophy and tactical blueprint that revolves around a new modern football tactics which he is likely to implement immediately.

He insisted he had all the tools required at his disposal to make an instant impact and help Crown FC when the Nigeria National League commence which will help them secure promotion ticket to the Nigeria Professional Football League.
