OKE OGUN UTD, CROWN FC IN NOVELTY MATCH TO RAISE FUND FOR OKE OGUN SPORTS CLUB

As part of activities to give sports a facelift in Oke Ogun and it's environs, a novelty match has been scheduled to hold between Oke Ogun United Sports Club and Oyo state flag bearer at the Nigeria National League, Crown FC of Ogbomoso.


Recall that the planning committee and the club executives had a courtesy visit to the Oyo state commissioner for youth and sports, Asiwaju Seun Fakorede and commissioner for Establishment and Training, Engineer Siju Lawal as preparation towards the official launching of #300million take off fund of Oke Ogun United Sports Club scheduled for tomorrow, December 1st at OYSADA sports complex, Saki.


Speaking to OyoSportsNews, Coordinator and President Oke Ogun United Sports Club, Coach Adegbola Daniel said preparations toward tomorrow's event is on top gear. He assured all invited guests, sons and daughters, sports lovers and well wishes of hitch free event.

"The event will hold tomorrow as scheduled, plans are on top gear. I'm using this medium to call on all indigenes of Oke Ogun, to come grace the event. I'm very sure our invited guests, traditional rulers, government officials, retried and active players and coaches will attend the event. We must resuscitate sports in Oke Ogun, we've done it before and we must continue."


Meanwhile, Crown FC of Ogbomoso under Coach Encho Anthony will travel to Saki tomorrow for a novelty match against Oke Ogun United as parts of the activities lineup for the launching event.

 The match, according to Coach Daniel is also to show  to the world their talents and efforts made so far in projecting their dreams.
